So genug unserer Dänisch-Kenntnisse zum Besten gegeben.

Erzähl mal, was hat dich dazu bewegt dein Auslandssemester an der TEKO in Herning zu absolvieren?

Ich war vor ein paar Jahren hier in der Nähe im Urlaub und habe mich direkt in das Land mit seinen tollen Landschaften und die freundlichen und stylischen Menschen verliebt. Vor allem das modische Gespür hat es mir hier im Norden angetan und der gute Ruf der Uni.

Und dein Fazit nach den ersten paar Wochen?

An das Wetter muss man sich auf jeden Fall erst einmal gewöhnen, da es von einer Minute auf die andere von strahlendem Sonnenschein in Regen umschlägt. Und naja… es gibt ihr eigentlich nur Studentinnen und man sieht selten einen Mann L Aber trotzdem ist es toll hier, wir reisen viel und erkunden das Land oder unternehmen etwas mit den anderen Exchange-Studenten.

Und dein Fazit zum dänischen Kleidungsstil?

Schwarz und Sneaker! Nein, im Ernst, die Menschen hier laufen meiner Meinung nach viel stylischer rum beziehungsweise trauen sich mehr Ausgefallenes zu tragen. Davon können wir noch etwas lernen. Aber es stimmt schon, man sieht oft schwarze oder graue Kleidung und dazu ausgefallene und bunte Sneaker. Alles in allem gefällt mir der Modestil hier super!

 

Was man auf den Bildern nicht sieht: du hast ja unglaublich viel Zeug dabei, wie hast du das denn hier her geschafft ? Ich bin ja schon ein wenig neidisch :)

Mir kommt es gar nicht so viel vor! Meine lieben Eltern haben mich mit dem Auto hierher gefahren und noch drei Wochen Urlaub an der Küste gemacht.

Was mir immer wieder auffällt: Du hast wahnsinnig viele Statement-Ketten. Schlummert da ein kleiner Jäger und Sammler in Dir?

Ich glaube, man erkennt meine Liebe zu Statement-Ketten sofort auf den Bildern. Begonnen hat meine Sucht (ja, ich gebe es zu) vor zwei Jahren in England, als ich mir meine erste Kette bei Accessorize gekauft habe. Seitdem komme ich in keinem Shop an der Schmuckabteilung vorbei und mittlerweile habe ich eine beachtliche Sammlung. Trotz stetiger Verbote meinerseits, endlich weniger Geld dafür auszugeben, werden es regelmäßig mehr. Aber man kann ein einfaches Outfit SO toll mit einer großen Kette aufwerten.

Hast du einen Tipp für alle Dänemark Besucher und zukünfitge TEKO Exchange Students was wirklich unverzichtbar im dänischen Kleiderschrank ist?

Um nochmal auf den vorderen Punkt zurückzukommen… Sneaker! Muss ich mir jetzt auch endlich zulegen.

Hier regnet es ja ziemlich viel, hast du einen Tipp was man am Besten anzieht bei dem Schmuddelwetter hier?

Warme Kleidung! Da wir immer mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs sind, muss die Kleidung schon etwas praktischer sein (was nicht heißt, dass man nicht modisch aussehen kann ;) ). Am liebsten trage ich momentan meine schwarze Leder-Skinny, Boots und ausgefallene Shirts.

Wir sind ja quasi Arbeitskollegen: Erzähl mal ein wenig über deinen Blog Fashionexchanger!

Ich bin schon seit Jahren eine fleißige Blogleserin und hatte immer den Traum selbst einen eigenen Mode-Blog zu starten. Hatte mich nur zu lange nicht getraut, bis dieses Jahr die Prüfungsphase kam. Statt zu lernen, habe ich spontan eines Mittags einen Blog gegründet.  Die Idee kam mir schon länger, da ich gerne neben dem Studium noch etwas Kreatives machen wollte.  Da ich selbst viele Ideen von anderen Blogs bekomme, möchte ich auch andere mit meinen Outfits inspirieren. Aber auch um von meinen Reisen zu berichten. Vor allem im Moment von meiner Zeit in Dänemark, damit meine Familie und Freunde und natürlich unsere Kommilitonen sehen, wie das Leben hier ist und was ich erlebe.

Was kannst du zum Shoppen in Dänemark sagen?

Teuer, teuer, teuer. Aber man findet mehr Läden mit stylischen Sachen und coolen Marken als in Deutschland.

Was sind deine Zukunftspläne?

Momentan bin ich erstmal dabei mir für eine Bachelor-Thesis zu bewerben. Am liebsten in Berlin! Danach auf jeden Fall noch einen Master.

Why did you choose to do your semestre abroad at TEKO in Herning? 

I was on vacation near the city a few yoears ago and I immediately fell in love with the friendliness and the style of the danes and the landscape here. And of course the good reputation of the university.

What can you say about the country after the first few weeks?

Well I have to get used to the weather. I changes so quickly! And guys are something of a rarity at TEKO. But I love it here. We travel a lot and experience the country with the other exchange students.

What do you consider as the typical danish fashion style?

Black and Sneaker! No, seriously: the people here are ways more stylish then they are in germany. And they have the courage to wear extraordinary pieces. That's where we can learn from them. But it's true: you see a lot of black and grey clothes in combination with fancy, colorful Sneaker. I like the danish style a lot! 

What you can't see on the pictures is that you have SO many clothes with you. I'm a bit jealous! How did you manage to bring all that stuff?

To me it doesn't seem that much. My lovely parents went by car and  stayed at the seaside for their vacation.

What I always recognize on your Outfits. You have a lot of Statement-Jewellery right?

Yes I think you can see my love for Statement-Pieces right away on the pictures. My addiciton to it began about two years ago in the UK where I bought my first Statement-Necklace at Accesorize. Since that time I can't pass any Shop without having a look at their jewellry-department. In spite of my self-imposed restraint on spending less money in jewellery it gets constantly more (laughter). But you can SO upgrade an outfit with them.

Do you have any tipps  for upcoming TEKO-students on what's indispensable in a danish wardrobe?

To come back to what I said before..Sneaker! That's something I have to add to my closet finally.

As it's raining a lot here in Denmark...what should we wear?

Warm stuff! We're always on our bikes, hence the clothes have to be kinda functional as well (doesn't mean you can't be stylish in them (laughter)). My favourite pieces are my black skinny leather trouser, boots and edgy shirts. 

As we are Blogger-Colleagues: What moved you to start a Blog?

I do read a lot of blogs since a few years and always dreamt of having my own one. But since this June I never had the guts to do so. Well and during the examination phase I finally did it - instead of learning (laughter). I wanted to do something creative besides my studies and want to give back the inspiration I get from other Blogs as well it is nice now that the Blog gives my the opportunity to show the people what's going on in Denmark.

How's Shopping in Denmark?

Expensive, expensive, expensive. But there are more Stores that sell extraordinary pieces and stores that have a lot of cool brands. 

So what are you're future plans?

At the moment I'm in the application phase for my Bachelor-Thesis. I would love to go to Berlin! And afterwards I will do my Master's degree.
